Lighter shade of butter yellow

Huge pile of clothes

and underneath

lies,

Lies

Covered by cabbage peels

layer on layer

and layer

A seed

torn

barely alive

Seed

yet to be exposed

yet to be sown

yet to flourish

Skin

thick and concrete

it just builds up and up

Mt Everest

almost

reflecting a lighter shade of butter yellow.
